We exist to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the world around us. We are a gathering of like-minded Christians who meet to worship God together and learn more about Him and how to live our lives. We also exist so that those who do not know Jesus can find out more about Him through our church.

We desire to impact Union County by making a difference in the lives us those around us. We desire to reach South Carolina and the world through our missions and media.

Welcome From The Pastor
Family is a word that churches throw around quite often. However, there is no better word to describe Putman Baptist Church. Tucked in the small community named after the church itself sits a body of believers who have been loving God and serving one another since 1800. However, don’t think that our love and service is only found within the walls of our church building. We as “Putmanites” desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ with our community and our world as well. If you do not have a church home, please consider giving Putman a visit, we would love for you to be our guest!

Children's Ministry
Children are a blessing from the Lord. With these blessings also come responsibilities. As stewards of God’s children, parents are responsible for helping children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Churches have a responsibility toward children, too. We want to provide an environment in which children are safe, are taught at an age-appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
